Are you bored with regular nail paint on your nails? Then try something new and play with nail paint colours on your nail, and create beautiful nail art.
You know that nail art is a trend. A beautiful nail art on your nails speaks before you speak. Today, I am going to present simple nail art tricks, which you can try at home.
Here are some 5 fun DIY nail arts
1.Two-Toned: Apply your favourite nail colour and let it dry. Now attach a strip of the tape horizontally or vertically on the centre of the nail (like half nail should cover with tap horizontally or vertically). Apply complementary colour to the nail and remove the strip. It gives two-tone nail art.
2.Dots: A simple dot pattern. Here, you need two different colours (one light and one dark). Apply dark colour as your base coat. Use a bobby pin to dip into light nail polish and dot away on the nail.
3.DIY Matte top coat: Matte nail polish colours become a trend. You can transfer the shiny nail polish to matte colour by using cornstarch and colourless polish (Base coat). Take a bit of your favourite nail colour on a paper plate. Add a pinch of starch and mix it with a toothpick. Add colourless nail polish to the mix (base coat) and apply. When it dries, you will get your favourite perfect matte colour.
4.Strips (circular, star strips): Apply coloured nail polish first, later place thin strips vertically or horizontally and apply another nail colour to get columns. After the second coat, remove the strips and finally finish with a base coat to complete the look.
5.Blue Velvet Nail Art: Apply one coat of blue nail polish and allow to dry. Apply a second coat and immediately place a pinch of flocking powder onto the wet nail. Gently, pat down the powder with a finger. Repeat this step for the remaining nails. Allow nails to dry for 10-15 minutes. Finally, sweep away excess powder around the nails with soft brush. Wipe out any stray Velvet with a wet paper towel.
Tips:
1.Dry your nails faster by soaking them in iced/cold water for 2-3 minutes.
2.Apply petroleum jelly or glue around your nails to prevent nail paint from drying on the skin.
3.Apply two coats to prevent the paint from clipping at the tips.
