Skin Care Routines to Follow for a Healthy Skin

Like food, shelter and clothes for the body, skin also seeks for the care. So, you have to incorporate skin care in your daily routine. Face needs more attention than body because it’s exposed to a lot of pollution when compared to the body. Following any skincare regime will help to keep your skin healthy and fresh.

Here are some steps you have to incorporate into your daily routine.

1.Determine Your Skin Type: Know your skin type. Then, you can take care of it.

•Dry skin is scaly, flaky or rough.

•Oily skin is greasy, could have big pores and shiny texture.

•Combination skin is dry in some areas (cheek) and oily in other areas (nose and chin)

•Sensitive skin may burn and itch after use of makeup or other products.

•Normal skin is clear and not sensitive.

2.Cleanser: Wash your face with lukewarm water to open the pores. Cleanser is meant for your skin (any type), gently apply in circular motion to clean the face for 50 seconds. Wash face with cold water.

3.Toner: Clean the face with the help of clean towel or clean cotton pad. Pat toner on the face and leave it to dry naturally. Toner helps to restore the pH balance of your skin.

4.Moisturize: After toner, apply a small amount of moisturizer in a circular motion on your face, gently. Cleansing, toning and moisturizing are necessary steps to get a healthy and fresh skin.

5.Avoid touching your skin with bare hands: Don’t touch your face with your fingers because your fingers are home to bacteria. There are many people who involuntarily touch the face again and again. Kindly avoid it.

6.Never Squeeze Pimples: Don’t squeeze a pimple that may leave dark sport and marks which are even tough to get rid of. So, do not touch a pimple with dirty hands. Don’t pop them. It will leave a scar on your skin.

7.Hydrate: Drink plenty of water. Keep your system clean to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

8.Exfoliate/ Scrub: It helps to clean the pores deeply. You can do scrubbing 2 times in a week. After regular cleansing, apply scrub and clean the sides of the nose, forehead and chin thoroughly. Regular scrubbing is not recommended, it leads to opening up of more pores.

9.Face Mask/ Face Pack: After scrubbing, apply a face mask to clear dead cells from your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off.

Healthy skin is easy to get and difficult to maintain. Use these steps to maintain healthy and glowing skin.
