Tanning in the sun and feeling all gooey in our warm place is a thing of the past. We have gotten used to the tanning effects that the sun makes on our body and at times, have come to terms with it. Mostly, we don’t deal with the unwanted tan and get restless about it. We often look at our pictures and wonder how fair or less dark we used to be. So, what do we do to de-tan and does it really benefit our skin?
De-tanning in simple words is the removal of the tanned skin and cells accumulated in our body after its exposure to the sun’s UV rays and pollution. This is not an alternative to get “fairer” skin. It is a process to remove the tanned skin to even out the skin tone.
There are numerous ways to de-tan, such as magical serums, effective peeling, bleaching of the skin, de-tan facials and body wraps and our favourite natural organic therapies. We may use tomato to remove the tan of our skin or we may use gram flour along with honey and the easiest one lemon with honey and curd. This takes the tan right off the face, giving us a supple, clearer and fresh resultant skin.
While all of these methods are a good way to de-tan, the most point of contemplation is that how does de-tanning benefit your skin. Here are a few of the ways, de-tanning helps with our skin:
1.After a session of de-tan, it becomes for our skin to remove a layer of our skin. It lets our skin pores breathe and retain its nourishment.
2.It also helps some people deal with their acne.
3.Most importantly, it helps people get their original skin tone back and this develops a confidence in them.
4.It also helps the skin gain a natural and fresh look.
